Help C.A.M.P. raise $85,000 to buy much needed equipment for our students to use to create ART.
Dear Supporters,
We are thrilled by the incredible success of our recent showcase, "Immersion!" Your unwavering support and enthusiasm have played a vital role in showcasing the extraordinary talents of our student artists. We must address some financial challenges as we build on this momentum and prepare for our following three shows.
Like many arts-focused nonprofits, we have faced funding reductions from the DC Commission on the Arts and Humanities. However, we are proud to share that C.A.M.P. has been awarded a $58,000 DCCAH equipment grant, with $50,000 already allocated toward essential media equipment for our pre-professional program. While this is a significant step forward, we are still $85,000 short of our goal to fully equip our students with the cameras, sound equipment, and studio resources needed to excel in a department that has more than doubled in size in three years.
We hope you will help us to close this funding/equipment gap.
To make it easy to contribute, we’ve created a wish list with B&H Photo that includes the items we need to equip our students, such as Blackmagic cinema cameras, sound equipment, lighting, and other essential production tools. Your support will directly enable our students to:
Meet industry standards for media production.
Participate in prestigious summer enrichment and internship programs.
Build competitive portfolios for college admissions and professional opportunities.
If you or someone you know needs an end-of-year tax write-off, this is a perfect opportunity to make a meaningful impact. We also gladly accept gift cards from B&H Photo to support this initiative. The wish list is available here.
Please address any equipment donations to:
