DESA Enrollment Saturday - Enrollment for the 2025–2026 school year

Dear Future and Returning Ellington Families,

Enrollment for the 2025–2026 school year is now open! Thank you to all the families who have already completed their student’s enrollment—we’re excited to welcome you back.

If you have not enrolled yet, we’re happy to share that our school will be participating in the 2025 Enrollment Saturday. This event is a great opportunity to complete enrollment outside of regular school hours while enjoying a morning of community and fun.

Time: 9:00 AM – 12:00 PM


Location: 3500 R St NW, Washington, DC 20007

Come enroll your student and enjoy a morning full of fun for the whole family. Whether you're new to Ellington or returning, we’ve got plenty in store. There will be on-site enrollment, live performances, snacks, swag bag raffles, exciting prizes, games, music, and more.

To help streamline the process, we encourage families to come prepared: 

For New Students: 

·    Completed DCPS Enrollment Packet 

·    Proof of Age (copy of birth certificate, passport, etc.) 

·    Proof of DC Residency 

For Returning Students: 

·    Completed DCPS Enrollment Packet  

·    Proof of DC Residency 

Can’t make it in person or prefer to enroll ahead of time? You can complete enrollment online via Aspen at: https://aspen.dcps.dc.gov/aspen-login/go 

Once logged in, please be sure to select the appropriate tab on the left-hand side: 

·    "Enroll Student" – for new students who are brand new to DCPS or returning after time away 

·    "To Re-Enroll Students and Other Forms" – for currently enrolled students or those transferring between DCPS schools
